The Market NYC Returns to its Regular Programming

For those who have been suffering withdrawal, don't despair.  After a couple of weeks of special events at St. Patrick's Church (Happy 200th Anniversary!), The Market NYC returns to its regular schedule this coming weekend (yes, Saturdays and Sundays).  That's good news for both designers AND shoppers.  The market expects a full house of independent designers on both Saturday and Sunday just in time for Father's Day and Spring shopping.  For the best in independent apparel, accessories, jewelry, and more, check out The Market NYC - 268 Mulberry Street, open 11am-7pm. 

The Market NYC - 490 Hudson Street will also be back to its regular Saturday schedule after a break last Saturday.  490 Hudson Street is open on Saturdays, 12pm-7pm.  Come early for the best selection. Shop independent design!

Full House at The Market NYC - Hudson Street

Just because The Market NYC's 268 Mulberry street location was closed last Saturday (because of St. Patrick Church's 200th Anniversary celebrations) doesn't mean the fun stopped.  Many of the independent designers from Mulberry St. joined their West Village counterparts a few blocks away to sell their creations at The Market NYC's 490 Hudson Street location.  It was an eclectic mix of designers, from the handbags of Arza Designs, Jack Blue, and Tesage to cool t-shirts by Hiro, Vernakular, and Rekha Designs, to the always wide variety of jewelry designers including Chameleon, Top Tops, Atlantis Jewelry, and Michael Day.  It was a great day of sales and oh, what beautiful weather!  "I think after rain people were ready to get out of the house," says manager, Alex Pabon.   

Note: 490 Hudson Street will be closed this Saturday, June 13th. 

268 Mulberry Street will be open this Saturday, June 13th (11am to 7pm) but closed Sunday, June 14th. 

Both markets will resume regular schedule next week.

East Meets West at The Market NYC

It will be East Meets West next Saturday when designers from The Market NYC 268 Mulberry Street travel a few blocks to hang out with their West Village counterparts at The Market NYC's 490 Hudson Street location. With the 200th Anniversary festivities surrounding St. Patrick's Church, The Market NYC at Mulberry will be closed on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday June 7th. But that doesn't mean you won't be able to get any of the independent jewelry, accessories, and apparel. Many of the Mulberry Street designers will be set up and ready to sell along with Hudson Street regulars. "It gives designers and customers a chance to see the newly renovated space at 490 Hudson. It will be double the fun!" says Alex Pabon, the Manager of both markets.

The Market NYC's West Village location just reopened for the season three weeks ago complete with new lights, a fresh coat of paint, and a new attitude. Come early for the best selection. Confirmed designers include: naturevsfuture, Chameleon Jewelry, Vernakular Photo Designs, Tesage by Yukiko Sato, Arza Design, Umsteigen, and Wrecords by Monkey

The Market NYC - West Village Reopens

The Market NYC - Hudson: The New Kid

The Market NYC's second location on Hudson Street (betwixt Christopher and Grove) is getting ready for its sophomore season opener this coming Saturday, May 16th.  "It's going to be great as we move from last year's temporary space to the new renovated space with new lights," says Alex Pabon, the manager of both Hudson and Mulberry markets. We can't wait to see it and with the weather finally cooperating, it should be even better. 

The Market NYC - Hudson is open from 12 to 6 every Saturday.
